Ukca Foundation is a relief and development Charity, operating mainly in Africa (Uganda). We believe that helping to preserve an individual life is the equivalent of preserving the life of all humankind. We provide immediate care/relief to our clients whilst focusing on long-term solutions that will advance their welfare. We work tirelessly in search of solutions that are sustainable to make immediate and lasting improvements.
To take care of Orphans and people in extreme poverty/need is an important part of social welfare and a highly rewardable act. We hope our efforts and sacrifices to be there in someone’s time of need; will reap immense rewards.
Ukca Foundation believes in respecting diversity, especially in the sense of differences of culture; color, and belief. We were made into diverse nations and tribes so that we may know one another. Our key terms are Equity, Justice, Honesty, and Patience. These we use to ensure equal opportunity for everyone.
Ukca Foundation provides aid, relief, and development in a dignified manner irrespective of race, age, gender, color, class, ethnicity, disability, location, and religion. We believe that every child/person, anywhere, has the right to a happy, safe, and healthy lifestyle. We share the vision for a better world for all children/people. The world where all children/people are safe, survive, learn, develop, and thrive in their lives.
Ukca foundation is a registered non-profitable organization that is transparent and open to scrutiny. We want the public to know about our work and how and where we do it. This is because we work with some of the most vulnerable people. We stand out firmly for justice; even though it, be against ourselves, parents, kin, rich or poor. We follow not the lusts (of our hearts), lest we may avoid justice. Since our humble beginnings, we respond to emergencies whilst establishing long -term projects. We support livelihoods through feeding, education, health care, shelter and run orphan sponsorship schemes, offer financial support to orphanage families, and advocate. We have built up a network of national/international relations providing a wealth of skills and experience in supporting those most vulnerable and in need. We remain committed to helping those in crisis and empowering local communities over the long- term.
Ukca foundation’s mission is to aid humanity as a priority of all mankind.
The ultimate vision of Ukca Foundation is for mankind to achieve ever-lasting hope, transformation, and opportunities. Our target is for our clients to receive the right help, at the right time, in a suitableenvironment with the best solution. We shall provide quality care through alliance/partnership. We aim to attain an effective system of care for all Orphans and those in desperate poverty/need.
The survival of all mankind depends on everyone respecting and protecting others. We are an interdependent species and our survival and prosperity are dependent on the value we place on the lives of others. Arguably, it is almost impossible to enjoy or appreciate any values or even the meaning of life in the absence of justice. Hence why the concept of justice is paramount in our organization. Our values are important and set out what we prioritise and publicly, what our organization really stands for. They define the prism through which we make decisions and conduct our business. Ukca Foundation lives by the following values:
Equality: We believe that the lives of all human beings are of equal value.
Mutual Respect: Mankind is required to recognize the innate worth of all people.
Open: We work in a friendly, collaborative, transparent way.
Integrity: We are professional and consistent with our mission, being honest and transparent in what we do and say.
Quality: We constantly challenge ourselves to the highest levels of learning and performance to achieve greater impact for our clients.
Networking and Partnerships: We work together effectively with other charities and organizations to serve the larger community and make a difference for our clients.
Innovation: We use modern technology and find creative ways to run an efficient, high-quality care service.
The foundation has long-term projects (Farming, Mechanical training, IT training, and Community work projects). The aim is to educate, acquire skills and establish reliable and adequate means of earning a living for individuals and the community. Ukca Foundation and our supporters shall develop sustainable livelihoods in impoverished communities so that people can prosper for many years to come.
Ukca Foundation shall provide the tools and assistance required for the clients to stand on their feet. We shall support our clients while they learn new skills and create opportunities for their future. We are planning local gatherings to discuss ideas, promote what is good, find community requirements, and play games to alleviate stress. Ukca Foundation, through our Outreach team, offers grants to orphan guardians
and families in need to provide for those in their care. Together, we are helping families get the basics they need to thrive. We work on helping communities prosper by boosting the local economy through Care, Education, Play, and job creation.
